Chess and other Strategy Games  Club

Our Chess Club will be meeting on Thursdays this year. We will have our first meeting September 17. We will meet in room 1225 after students have been dismissed to the cafeteria. Our meeting time is from around 3 to 4:30. Students may join at any time.

 All students are welcome and any skill level is encouraged to join. We will spend the first month teaching students the basics of chess. We will then play other strategy games throughout the rest of the year.

 

We have a wide assortment of games like Azul, Wingspan, Ticket to Ride, Codenames, Risk, and a many other games. Once we open the club up to Strategy games club members are encouraged to bring strategy games they want to play with their peers.

 

Please note that students will be asked not to use their cellphones during club time and may be asked to not return if they can not follow this rule.
