Hi Parents and Students,

While most students have already completed these assignments, here are the details for any 3rd Quarter tasks that may not have been completed during class time:

 1. Refugee Reflection:

Please write a response reflecting on the Refugee project that you completed, as well as the projects that you watched your classmates present. There is a template included under the "Work at Home Files" that you can use as a model for your response. Please also be sure to reference the rubric in that same folder to make sure that you have all of the necessary components.
*If your journal with your Facts/Opinion list is at school, just focus on the facts included in your own presentation to reflect on.*

2. Five Paragraph Essay:   Please write a five paragraph essay in response to the following prompt:  The school board plans to add one and a half hours to school each day. Do you agree or disagree with extending the school day? Use specific details and examples to convince the school board to accept your position. Your essay should consist of an introduction paragraph with a thesis statement, 2-3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph. The rubric for this essay, as well as PowerPoints with information about five paragraph essays, are included under the "Work at Home Files" tab on my page, and break down exactly what you need to include in each section.  You should complete this essay on a Word document through Office 365 and then share your essay with me (champimk@pwcs.edu) when you are finished.

Please let me know if you have any questions! Stay safe and healthy!
