Mrs. Wisnewski, 6th grade Math
All Periods - Geometry Test - Wednesday, March 8
We will be celebrating Pi Day on FRIDAY, March 17, 2017! Note change in date due to snow!
Pi, the number 3.14…, gets its own special day on 3/14, or March 14. March 14 also happens to be the birth date of Albert Einstein.
6th grade students will celebrate Pi Day on Tuesday, March 14 with activities designed to enrich and deepen students’ understanding of the concept of pi. Activities will include deriving pi using cylindrical objects, estimating the circumference of a hula hoop/wheel, and eating pie!
Please help us have an awesome Pi Day Celebration by signing up to donate!
Each period will need plates, napkins, forks, and of course, pies!
