Chess and other Strategy Games Club
Our Chess Club will be meeting on Thrusdays this year. We will have our first meeting on September 19th. We will meet in room 1225 after students have been dismissed to the cafeteria. Our meeting time is from around 3 to 4:30. Students my join at any time.
All students are welcome and any skill level is encouraged to join. We will spend the first month teaching students the basics of chess. We will then play other strategy games throughout the rest of the year.
We have a wide assortment of games like Azul, Wingspan, Ticket to Ride, Codenames, Risk, and a many others. Once we open the club up to Strategy games club memebers are encouraged to bring strategy games they want to play with their peers.
Please note that students will be asked not to use their cellphones during club time and may be asked to not return if they can not follow this rule.
