I am so excited to start my 7th year as the proud principal of Gainesville Middle School for the Arts & Sciences and my 21st year as an educator in PWCS. In fact I attended  K-12 and am a proud graduate of Prince William County Public schools (Go Tigers!) I then attended THE UNIVERSITY of Virginia as an undergraduate, James Madison University to receive a Master of Education degree in middle grades education and attended Mary Washington University to earn a Masters of Educational Leadership.

I started my career in PWCS as an 8th grade Language Arts teacher. Although this year we are facing new and exciting challenges, I continue to look forward to working with students, staff, and parents, who are all critical to the success of Team Gainesville. By doing what is best for our students and creating a positive learning experience where each student can reach their highest potential, I am confident that we will have an amazing 2020-2021 school year. Please feel free to contact me should you need assistance.

Following seven years in the classroom as a mathematics teacher at Gainesville Middle School, I am now entering into my second year as an assistant principal at GVMS. My passion for cultivating a successful and safe learning environment begins with forging relationships with our diverse student body. While every new school year brings about its own level of excitement for students and staff alike, I am particularly looking forward to welcoming our sixth graders and facilitating the best possible educational experiences for them. Here's to a successful 2019-2020 school year!
